Telephone Systems We installed and continue to maintain an Alcatel OmniPCX Call Server solution for the University of the South Pacific which with 2500 users is largest telephone system in the country.
Data Network Solutions We installed a new server and a custom made network for the Ministry of Information which links their four main sites and their respective departments.
Prior to this upgrade (due to the limits of technology) the Ministry’s departments operated as separate entities and had disjointed databases. Now the Ministry has a one stop technology shop where all the departments share an email identity and an integrated database - making service delivery easier.
Structured Cabling We installed a Leviton Cat 6 structured cabling solution for the Secretriat of the Pacific Community’s offices in Suva. Working in partnership with 26 members and with regional and international agencies, SPC assists government and non-government agencies in the region by delivering a wide range of technical, research, educational and planning services.
A sound technological infrastructure is integral to the success of their work in the Pacific. We provided the solid infrastructure SPC needs to build and develop its ever growing technological requirements.
SPC opted for the higher end (and more expensive) product to ensure optimum reliability and longevity.
Fibre Optic Cabling Involved from the planning stages of project, GDC designed, built and installed an entire blown fibre optic cabling system for the Fiji Resort and Spa managed by Hilton.
One of the largest installations done by GDC, we installed over 45 kilometres of blown fibre optic cable, for the customer, who now has one of the most reliable and speedy systems in Fiji.
