GDC Communications was designed and setup to provide a customer-focused, sustainable telecommunications business in the Fiji islands. Our aim is to provide our customers, both in Fiji and the wider Pacific region, with intelligent state-of-the-art solutions.
Over the past six years we have done just that, and in doing so, become the market leader with the consistent delivery of solid, reliable and complex telecommunications solutions.
The company has four divisions:
• Telephone Systems (Alcatel Omni PCX Enterprise)
• Data Network Solutions
• Structured Cabling
• Fibre Optics
Telephone systems and data solutions are primarily offered to medium to large businesses. As the company name suggests ‘General Data Cabling & Communications’ also sells and installs structured cabling and fibre optic cabling systems.
Our clients are local businesses; hotels; councils; government departments; hospitals; schools; and include some of Fiji and the Pacific’s most exclusive island resorts as well as international corporate and private development companies.
Telephone Systems
As a certified Alcatel-Lucent Business partner we supply and install Alcatel Omni PCX Enterprise telephone systems. The Alcatel Omni PCX Enterprise Call Server is designed to cater for large organisations with complex requirements and multiple sites. The successful deployment of several complex solutions makes us a market leader in Enterprise telephony.

Data Network Solutions

Structured Cabling
We are skilled and experienced in the design and the implementation of Structured Cabling Networks. We offer site acceptance testing, as built plans, and local back up service.

Fibre Optic Cabling
We are known for our knowledge of and experience with Fibre Optic Cabling networks. We have highly trained staff and are experts in the design and implementation of fibre networks. As is the case with the structure cabling services, we offer site acceptance testing, as built plans, and local back up service.
